Constantine Deremeshko and Dmitry Maximishin aka Pluton and Skyer, hailing from a small town of Kherson found in the south of Ukraine, have been making waves in the drum & bass industry for some time now. With some excellent releases on Cymbalism Recordings, Hospital Records, Influenza Media, Viper Recordings, Kos.Mos.Music, and Absys Records quite recently, exploring the lighter side of drum & bass, their musical background should come as no surprise. Their career includes also solo endeavours, with Pluton playing the guitar in professional bands and producing uplifting psytrance, and Skyer writing experimental and downtempo music. But their collaborative efforts reach beyond drum & bass; the duo has some techno and tech-house stuff in their catalogue as well. Well known on the Ukrainian scene, having played in Kiev or Lviv, their brand seems to be growing on the international scale as well. Given the quality of their musical output, it seems that the future looks more than bright for the two.
